It was very nice to meet all of you in Ipswich today, I really enjoyed my day. I shot almost three rolls of film, which has never happened before!

Very nice shots Alan, thank you for sharing them!

Also thanks to Alan, Mark and Susie for letting me try some of their lenses. :)

Let's make sure to organise another meeting soon!

Hi Guys,

Just a quick "Thank You" for a super day - and giving me an excuse to use the 111f again after so long in the drawer!

I'll get the film developed during the week and post anything that's not too below standard for the forum.

Best wishes,

Susie

Great day out and nice to meet you all - I learned a lot especially thatt my CV Colour Skopar M was a Colour Skopr L with adapter. I can use it on my Leica III and the trick that if you set the saturation for JPG as Black and white, you can see the B&W image on the back whilst still retaining a colour RAW Image.

Any way a few shots from the M8 , will post any from the M6 TTL when I get developed

I have created a Flikr set with some of my photos Ipswich Leica Meet 2013

If anyone can tell me how to insert into posts I would be grateful - Mark

Hi Mark,

In flickr you need to select your image and then click the share button above your image and copy the bc code.

Go back to your forum thread and click and paste your bc code into the iimage tab, it's a square shaped box above your text, the forum help topics will point it out if you struggle to find it. Voila, your image will appear. You can preview just to be super sure before posting.

Huge thanks to Val for organising and to Matt for herding. It was a pleasure to meet Susie, Mark, and John, and to meet Alan again. I spent a very pleasant day in Ipswich and learnt the true meaning of F.T.G.F.O.P.

Here are a few snaps from the day:
