As I've said before, I can afford to buy the CV lenses to 'play' with a focal length and see if it is for me. Couldn't do that with Leica glass, not even 2nd hand.

And here's a vote for both the 28mm f1.9 Ultron and the 50mm f1.5 Nocton - both excellent lenses which work well with the M8. Frankly, I don't know how Cosina-Voigtlander do it at the price, given the relatively low volume of production. I suspect that the MD (a known rangefinder enthusiast) picks up much of the R&D privately.
The following are from the 28mm (top) and 15mm (bottom) both in very mixed lighting (fluorescent, mercury vapour, daylight and possibly some tungsten) without coding or IR filtration. Both at ISO 640. Developed in Lightroom.
