Okay, okay. I've decided to keep it. It does make a fine pair with the X1. :)

Here's a recent D2 shot, with a couple of additions in PS to make it into our holiday card for this year. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays!

And something a little festive (still no idea how to photoshop so these are all as they came off the camera)

Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, has a museum that was originally built as a military garrison and then became the city’s jail. The prisoners were allowed to paint on the walls, and some painting have been left intact, now forming part of the museum’s collection. Here are a couple, jpegs out of camera. The sense of authenticity is remarkable.

Love the jpegs that this camera produces, especially B+W!

I thought I'd try some macro shots with the Elpro- D E69 attached to the D2

The fungi measured 1.5 cm across and 2 cm tall .

Had a spontaneous photo shoot with my friend - used the hot shoe to trigger remote flashes. This is straight out of the camera except resized. I'm not a big SOOC guy but seriously love this enough that it truly doesn't need anything! Love the in-camera b/w so much!

Completely agree about SOOC B+W. Lovely tones at ISO 100, however, I often like to use ISO 400 for a purposefully "grainy" effect!

How about a bit of cuteness? My kids and their new puppy, Bella.

Bounce flash, ooc. Resized and sharpened on the ipad.
