Collecting LEICA M9 sites

I've posted here before, so forgive the repeat. But is is justified: I have just posted a large folio of work done entirely with a M9 and almost entirely with a 35mm f/1.4 SUMMILUX-M ASPH

The folio, called Turning The Wall: a Trench Town Journey, is co-authored with S. Dixon Myers, who wrote most of the text, and it accompanies what hopefully will be a large book. Please take a look and let me know what you think!

Pradip Malde

(Sorry for the flash version only and apologies in advance to those with slow connections - it is rather large!)

A Blurb version of the book is also available:

Turning The Wall | By Pradip Malde and S. Dixon Myers | Category: Arts & Photography | Blurb

Thanks everyone for a helpful and lively forum!

Hola Leica Forum!

My website has just been updated and wanted to share it with you all. The Guatemala work was shot with M8's and and M9...the others with Leica M6's and M7's...and all Leica glass.

Best to all!

Dear all, What a great initiative - now with the announcement of the new Leica cameras and the M-E, the reviews of the M9 appear to be still relevant :-)

I've been shooting with an M9 for close to two years now (and with an M8 for a year before) and I've written on a couple of occasions about my experience with it. Here's one of my writings about the experience after 1 year with the M9:

1 Year with Leica M9 - Retrospective; and about

And I also had a few months earlier this summer when the rumours for the new M were coming up thinking that I should perhaps downgrade while the prices were still higher and I had an M8 for some time shooting them either in parallel or focusing more on the M8 (my M9 was also in need for calibration which it did get in the end). So I wrote up some thoughts on this inner battle as well:

The Unlikely Duel - M8 vs. M9. Or

Hope you find them both interesting.

I began blogging just a few days ago. Pics are made with an M9, a Fuji X-Pro1 and a Canon EOS 5 MkII. You will find the camera information in each article's end.

See link below in the signature. It's in German but hope you like it.

Please help me in finding new sites and post them in this thread:

  • A short description

Thanks in advance!
