TRIago Posted September 25, 2012 Share #624 Posted September 25, 2012 Not sure you guys have seen this, and not sure if Bellamy is registered either, but anyways it's worth showing: Why I think the M6 is the best Leica rangefinder | Japan Camera Hunter I agree. kivis Posted October 29, 2012 Share #628 Posted October 29, 2012 I love my M6 a bit like a step child. It clearly is not the one, I wanted or planned, as it should have been a black one. It definitely is the one, that hooked me into Leica and rangefinder cameras and changed, how I see the world with a camera. I probably will not sell it either, as I a sentimental guy and it is the first Leica (and actually a silver chrome beauty at that). I wrote a bit about it here on my website. I am always on the lookout for a nice black sample. Nice website.

fotografr Posted November 6, 2012 Share #630 Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) I love mine, too. Unfortunately, I never shoot film anymore, so I am selling this mint, unused platinum M6/50mm Summilux for the same price I paid for it 23 years ago. If you're interested, it will be in the classifieds for two more days only. Welcome, dear visitor! david strachan Posted December 2, 2012 Share #632 Posted December 2, 2012 Here's mine. I'm new to Leica, and enjoying it all. Searched for a good classic M6 ( I prefer chrome), and 3 months search for a good collapsible Summicron. Lovely camera, lovely lens. Nice balance and heft. cheers all, David S PS I also love the Barnack jewels, particularly my IIIf. Welcome, dear visitor! erl Posted December 6, 2012 Share #634 Posted December 6, 2012 Welcome to the forum Thomas. You will love that M6, forever! O.T., I notice an alternate Cyan & Red colour cast in stripes of light on your posted image. Is that caused by the environmental lighting, or was there a problem with the processing of the film, or maybe the scan? Just thought I would draw your attention to it as you won't want it to become an issue with colour work in the future.
TLB Photographe Posted December 7, 2012 Share #635 Posted December 7, 2012 Thanks for the greetings and note Erl The picture was taken quickly with one of my digital cameras and the cyan/red tones were only due to the light and colors coming from the window, I didn't really pay attention to it! It's something I usually would've corrected but I was too anxious to post my new toy on the forum
