While you might turn up a decent-looking M or MC meter, don't expect it to work. Internal oxidation killed all of them whether they were in use or not. I use an MR meter and find it quite useful when, at times, I wish to meter and to photograph without raising the camera to my eye. The top-mounted metering needle and field facilitate this.
