Stephen,

Does your lens focus out to infinity or stay just a "little" shy to the right?
Does this happen with any of your other lenses?

It seems that the 50 1.4 ASPH has had some focusing issues, as Tony Rose at PopFlash and I can attest to. We went through several samples until I got one that focused correctly.
