  3. Getting low allows one to compose the shot without having to tilt the camera down. If I were doing a shot of folks seated at a table, I could either compose the shot while standing or after taking a seat at the next table. In the first case I would have exaggerated perspective (tilting verticals), but little to none in the second. The idea is to try to get to the same level as the subject.

    Cool girl.

Dear Louis, Thank you very much for your kind words 🙏 I’m happy to know that my photography could be interesting to others. I do post more in black and white section and street photography as you probably know. Need to be more creative and post everywhere in our forum 😅

  9. Thanks for sharing that story pippy, interesting read Here's the same Millenium Mills, as seen from the Victoria Docks footbridge. Unfortunately someone put up some kind of screen that hides the gap between the old and newer building as well as the SPILLERS name on the lower connecting building. Sony NEX6 + Summaron 35/2.8
  10. So when I lost my files, my SL3 did shut off when I was checking the percentage on my power brick in my back pocket. I was shooting using the DC-Coupler, and did not know that my power brick shuts down when you check the percentage left. Maybe now that this is happening to more photographers Leica will look into the issue more. My local rep and NJ basically said just to let them know if it happens again.
  11. I don't know what they did on every occasion, but there are certainly conversions where the whole body shell was obviously replaced, which would probably be the simplest solution in any case. You can see examples in this thread and elsewhere of late I to II conversions where the new body shell is drilled for the slow-speed mechanism of a III or IIIa, but the hole is covered with a vulcanite blanking plate like they used with the IIc and IIf.
  12. The Ver 5 is my dream come true lens. Love it.
  13. I buy my Leica equipment to look at it and to use it. There,,,,I confessed.
  14. Alan, do you still have the Anastigmat for 226? I can't tell exactly what lens is mounted there in our photo.
  15. It’s fine, but y’know hardcore fans are still not accepting the L-mount Alliance.
